Project Methodology - Phase 2: Design
The design phase of the project includes detailing the project requirements, findings made during the review phase and of course the architecture of solution.
Depending on the project, the design phase can be a documented process to resolve a single issue or an extensive architecture document.
For larger projects typical design phase project deliverables include design and architecture documents and a detailed project plan.
The design and architecture document will include hardware and software requirements, a plan of action, a high level description of how the remainder of the project will be executed and the current known risks associated with the execution of the project.
The project plan typically will include scheduling, task assignment, resource requirements and cost estimates.
